📢 Write like you’re talking to colleagues
This is the first thing. I used to try to sound “pro” and I’d stuff in a thousand keywords that even I didn’t understand… terrible 😅
Now I write like I’m telling a friend something over WhatsApp. More natural, clearer, more you.
And the best part: Google gets it, and people do too.
⚡ Your website has to run SMOOTHLY
Don’t obsess over having a thousand effects. If your page takes more than 3 seconds to load… people leave. Simple as that.
I noticed it when I changed templates: suddenly, more visits, more time on site, less bounce.
Oh, and on mobile it has to run like a bullet. Because almost everyone visits from there 📱💨
🎙️ Optimize for voice
This is a whole other thing. More and more people search by talking, like:
“how to fix a broken blind” or “good and cheap restaurants in Seville”
Well, if you write thinking about that type of question… Google bumps you up. Literally.
I tried it on an article and it started ranking on its own, without backlinks or anything 😳
🔗 Links are still gold
But not just any link.
Forget about buying 50 of those cheap backlinks… they don’t work.
What really helps is getting linked from websites that are cool, that have reputation.
And that’s achieved by creating great content and, if you can, collaborating with people in your niche. 🤝
📊 Look at the metrics… but don’t drive yourself crazy
You don’t need to get a master’s degree in analytics.
Just by looking at which articles work, where people come from, and which pages bore them… you’re golden.
I check Search Console every week, come up with a couple of ideas, and keep going. Simple.
🔥 The important thing: be yourself, but improve
Enough with looking for weird tricks to “fool the algorithm.”
Do things right, write well, take care of whoever reads you… and SEO comes on its own. Well, almost 😅
But seriously, 2025 is for those who do things with their head and with style.
