One day I was normally quietly scrolling through TikTok when suddenly a message appeared saying that my account had been blocked for violating the policies. What was happening? The steps to recover it were the following
The first thing I did was try to remember if I had shared my password with anyone or if I had clicked on any suspicious link. Then I started moving quickly so I could recover my account:

- I followed those steps to change my password to a more secure and unique one.
Report the hacked account
It is also important to report the hacked account to the TikTok support team, so they can take action and prevent the hacker from continuing to use it.
To do that:
- I went to the TikTok support page.
- I clicked on the option “Report a problem with your account”.
