Have you ever wondered how many people are visiting your web page? 🤔 Honestly, before I had no idea at all how to do it, and between being caught up in a thousand things, you just let it slide… but the other day I started looking into it (yes, after dinner, without planning it haha) and I found some pretty easy ways.
I recommend checking out this article, it’s interesting: <a href="https://www.empresadeserviciosweb.com/strategies–effective-for-positioning-by-product-category/” title=”Effective Positioning Strategies by Product Category” class=”internal-recommendation” target=”_self” rel=”noopener”>Effective Positioning Strategies by Product Category.
The first thing is that if you have a website, whether it’s for a hobby, a business venture or whatever, the least you should do is know if anyone is viewing it 👀 Because if nobody visits, it’s like having a really nice store but with the curtains closed 😅
The most popular tool is Google Analytics 📊. At first it seems a bit tangled, but it’s not that hard. You just have to install a code on your website (there are tutorials everywhere) and it starts showing you how many people visit, from where, how long they stay, and even whether they use their phone or computer. I was surprised to see people visiting from countries I didn’t even know knew about me 😳🌎
There are also others like Search Console 🔍 (which helps you find out what words people use on Google to find you) and some extensions like SimilarWeb or Ubersuggest, although the latter are more for researching other pages (not spying, hehe) 👀
That said, be careful not to spend all day staring at numbers 📱📈. I got obsessed and refreshed the data a thousand times, as if they were likes. But then I thought: beyond how many people come in, what matters is what they do when they’re on your site. If they read, if they come back, if they find what they were looking for. It’s not just traffic, it’s about truly connecting 💡❤️
Anyway, if you’re like me, wanting to know if your page has a pulse, start there. It’s easier than it seems, and it can even be addictive watching everything grow 🤓🔥
