Plan de Marketing

How I went from 0 to 100 daily orders with just two changes in my digital strategy

If your store online doesn’t convert visits into sales, the problem is usually in the experience, not the product. Here are concrete actions that work:

Make buying easy and fast
If your page takes too long to load, you lose sales. A delay of just one second can reduce conversions by up to 7%. On mobile, this is deadly: make sure buttons are large (at least 44 pixels) and that it can be navigated with one hand. In the checkout process, remove everything unnecessary. Offer the option to buy as a guest, since 24% of people abandon if you force them to create an account. Show the total cost (shipping and taxes) from the start to avoid surprises.

Become a brand people trust
People don’t buy from strangers. 93% of customers read reviews before deciding. Show reviews with real customer photos; this is 2.4 times more credible than your professional photos. Don’t hide negative criticism: a profile with only perfect reviews seems fake. Studies indicate that the likelihood of purchase is usually higher when the rating is between 4.2 and 4.5 stars. Also add trust symbols (SSL certificates, payment method logos) on the checkout page.

Don’t let them escape with a full cart
Cart abandonment is around 70%. To recover those sales, automate an email sequence:

  • First email (within an hour): A simple reminder with an image of the products.
  • Second email (at 24 hours): Add social proof or a touch of urgency (“Only a few units left”).
  • Third email (at 3 days): Offer a small discount (5-10%) to incentivize.
For greater impact, you can try a recovery SMS a few hours after abandonment; they have open rates close to 98%.

Attack on two fronts: attract and then accelerate
Your strategy must combine organic and paid efforts. First, create useful content (guides, tutorials, blogs) that answers your ideal customer’s questions. This positions you as an expert and builds long-term trust. Then, use paid advertising (such as Google Ads or social media ads) to push that content or specific products toward highly segmented audiences. The key is to use organic traffic data to know which paid ads will work best.

Your best tool: testing
None of the above is a universal truth for your store. That’s why you should constantly run A/B tests. Test two versions of a buy button, two different email subjects, or two product page designs. Start with the key pages: home, product, and checkout. The data from these tests will tell you what your audience really likes, not what you think they like.
